How do I register to vote?

You must register to vote if you have not previously voted in the Town of Winneconne. You may do so in the clerk's office during open hours or on the day of an election at the polls. Download a Voter Registration Application

 

  • You must turn 18 years of age on or before Election Day
  • You must have been a resident of the town a minimum of 28 days prior to Election Day. (If not, you are eligible to vote in your previous place of residence or by absentee ballot from that town/city/village).
  • You must provide your Wisconsin Department of Transportation issued driver's license or ID bearing your Town of Winneconne address. A driver's license is preferred but if that does not show your new address you may bring a utility bill, or other mail showing your name and new address, or your checkbook showing your new address.
  • You may register to vote by mail; however you should call the Clerk for special instructions.

 

How can I vote via absentee ballot?

Download an Absentee Ballot Application and submit it to the Town of Winneconne prior to Election Day.
